Senior Human Resource professional with over 15 years of experience leading HR initiatives, performance management, talent acquisition, payroll processing, corporate compliance and a very strong focus on employee engagement, development and retention. I am a certified Senior Human Resource Professional (SPHR), member of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM), Bachelor’s degree from Miami Dade College, Master’s Degree from FIU, and currently enrolled to complete my Doctorate of Business Administration from South College.
In my last position, I was the Senior Human Resource Director for Global Freight Systems, where I directed all HR operations, engaged in financial/accounting operations, reporting & compliance, developed employee retention programs and managed payroll processing. I believe in an open-door approach to leading an HR department, fostering a culture of trust, transparency and accessibility where every team member feels heard and supported.
She enjoys traveling, shopping, cooking and listening to music.
